i can't say it's the first concert of the new year but it's been a while since i've been out and about it almost feels like one. electronica/alternative rock/mexican folk (more alternative rock than the other two) overall, a great show if you want a mix of both worlds. albeit started later than anticipated nevertheless an unexpected surprise. unexpected because most of my kinky listening pleasure was from myspace (crazy talk i know) but not until now did kinky find their way at the right place at the right time...subsequently, to The L.A. Dog and Pony Show.
href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonders_of_the_world">seven wonders of the ancient world; others want to go to all the locations mentioned on LOST I, however, wanted to hear what all the fuss was over the growing Mexican electronica movement. so for the record i've been to a live show of Mexican Institute of Sound, Bostich + Fussible (Nortec Collective) and now Kinky. i can't get enough borderline addicted to the beats of this genre of music.
caveat: do not search for KINKY unless it's through a music search engine...finding youtubes videos is almost impossible...unless you don't mind sorting through the TandA's videos...needless to say i looked elsewhere
